Khamisa Sawadi, 75 yr. old widow meted 40 lashes by Religious Police in Saudi Arabia

It sure is hell to be a woman and a “foreigner” in Saudi Arabia where religious police acting on “citizen information” that the widow mingled with 2 young men who despite one of the men (Fahd al-Anzi) who is actually a nephew of her late husband and his wet nurse when he was a baby was supposedly not her “immediate relation” and deemed to have committed a crime against “sharia morality.”

There are prude people and there are morons who interpret morality in their demented ways that they are beyond help posing a danger to others in their barbaric disposition. The poor old woman Khamisa Sawadi being a widow just like all the women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to travel alone or drive and with her 2 daughters who are married and living away from her how do they expect her to live? Do they expect the 72 virgins in heaven to drop her basic necessities like 5 loaves of bread that she asked her late husband nephew to buy for her to materialize out of the desert? The poor zap Fahd al-Anzi together with business partner Hadiyan bin Zein in doing a good deed for an old widow should have been given brownie points but not so according to the moronic religious foolish errr police who arrested the duo together with the widow finding them “guilty” of “immoral acts” sentenced to jail terms and lashes.

Khamisa Sawadi used to ask her neighbors to buy for her foods and basic necessities after her husband died, I wonder if these “citizen informant” who I supposed was one of her neighbors was not happy at seeing other people do the errands for her. Like a village idiot of the gossiper dirty minded type concocted and imputed malicious dirty sexual fantasies which the religious police of the same frame of dirty mind bought lock stock and barrel.

Now that is sick, jail term and 40 lashes is what she deserves according to the religious police and to further inflict their cruelty that is if she survives and not die after the lashing she is to be deported back to Syria even though her late husband is Saudi Arabian. What are these morons thinking or are they brain dead meting such harsh and horrible punishment the widow and the men don’t deserve. There is this image of a young woman 20 days after 50 lashing that is too graphic to post here tells you the kind of physical violence that are inflicted by these unthinking idiots so you can just imagine the fatal consequence it will do to a 75 year old woman.

I have always thought that the media in the Philippines is bad but this one tops them all and probably explains why religious police barbaric monstrosity thrives:
Girl gets a year in jail, 100 lashes for adultery

By Adnan Shabrawi

JEDDAH – A 23-year-old unmarried woman was awarded one-year prison term and 100 lashes for committing adultery and trying to abort the resultant fetus.

The District Court in Jeddah pronounced the verdict on Saturday after the girl confessed that she had a forced sexual intercourse with a man who had offered her a ride. The man, the girl confessed, took her to a rest house, east of Jeddah, where he and four of friends assaulted her all night long.

The girl claimed that she became pregnant soon after and went to King Fahd Hospital for Armed Forces in an attempt to carry out an abortion. She was eight weeks’ pregnant then, the hospital confirmed.

According to the ruling, the woman will be sent to a jail outside Jeddah to spend her time and will be lashed after delivery of her baby who will take the mother’s last name. – Okaz/SG
Awarded? What in the name of Osama Bin Laden’s cavorting 72 virgins was that all about? Oh geez, the lucky woman just got “awarded” the coveted lashing as if this is a bondage fetish guilty beyond reasonable doubt for confessing the “crime” of being raped.

At least not all the media people in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia thinks and write like this numb nut at Saudi Gazzete with the likes of Saudi journalist Bandar al-Ammar, in Al-Watan who felt the need to report the case "so everybody knows to what degree we have reached."

A saudi doctor and columnist also wrote in Al-Watan questioning the verdict against the widow Khamisa Sawadi and the 2 men based purely on suspicion are misusing religion to serve their interest.

The religious Police are a special police unit called the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice tasked at enforcing laws according to their own interpretation of Islamic laws. They patrol public places to make sure women are covered and not wearing make up, sexes don't mix, shops close five times a day for Muslim prayers and men go to the mosque to worship. Saudi Arabia's strict interpretation of Islam prohibits men and women who are not immediate relatives from mingling and women from driving. The playing of music, dancing and many movies also are a concern for hard-liners who believe they violate religious and moral values.

On a positive note the Saudi king dismissed the chief of the religious police and a cleric who condoned killing of TV network owners that broadcast "immoral content," is this a sign of a shake-up signaling an effort to weaken the kingdom's hard-line Sunni Muslim establishment? Maybe it is but maybe not so if you want to do something to prevent the injustice, join the Women Living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML) international solidarity network and its allies in demanding that Saudi Arabia demonstrate its commitment to human rights and release Khamisa Sawadi, Fahd al-Anzi, and Hadiyan bin Zein and revoke the order of deportation by clicking here, cut, paste and email the letter to the Saudi authorities.

Bambee De La Paz Blog Entry Libelous says Nasser Pangandaman, Jr.

Nasser Pangandaman, Sr. claims Bambee’s blog entry was libelous, tarnished their reputation and the allegations hurled against them, especially those contained in Bambee’s blog, were only meant to discredit them. What reputation is he talking about, the one on the Garci tape? Well Mr. Doronilla thinks otherwise if it was their character and reputation, I don’t see how a blogger can tarnish an already tarnished reputation if we base it on Armando Doronilla's Blog Power article description below:
The ugly face of warlord culture returned with a vengeance in the supposedly civilized ambience of golf fairways where gorillas are not expected to be seen cavorting on the manicured green.
Hoodlum Nasser PangandamanThe mere fact that the Pangandaman’s both public official was involved in a “brawl” which was more of beating up a 14 year old and a 56 year old father tells a lot about their character, image, and reputation so what is there to sully?

One thing for sure DAR secretary Nasser Pangandaman, Sr. did not prevent his sons and their companions together with their high powered firearm carrying bodyguards from mauling the victims and now he complains about the “one-sided” account on Bambee’s blog. What is clearly one-sided is the way armed group of grown men mauled Bino a child and his 56 years old father Delfin De La Paz, excuse me but I don’t think anyone in his right mind is buying this baloney.

What is worse and if proven to be accurate is the statement of Raymond Fortun that the “upright” Nasser Pangandaman, Sr. did not just do anything to stop the fight but was hurling invectives at the victims is not exactly one with a good character trait. That was like egging and pushing his sons to beat up the crap out of the victims, a very ungentle manlike behavior I should say and coming from a high ranking official brings shame to his office and position.

The message sent here is very clear, don't mess with the gorillas errr those in the cheat ooops seat of power and they will slap you with a string of cases even ridiculous child abuse kuno for exposing the 8 year old Pangandaman to "danger." On what grounds may I ask? If there was any danger that their 8 year old relative got exposed to it was clearly coming from them, risking the child's safety from their own bodyguards with high powered firearms. It is just amazing that while they peddle their "truth" like a snake oil cure all panacea the De La pazes are subjected to death threats and they were supposed to be the aggressors.

The unlawyer made a good point on the perverted law on libel in the Philippines:
The general rule is that the mere truth is not a defense against libel under Philippine law. As the first paragraph of Article 354 of the RPC says:

“Requirement for publicity. — Every defamatory imputation is presumed to be malicious, even if it be true… “
The case is filed in the Pangandamans hometown of Lanao del Sur, not that they cannot do that legally but this high handedness ought to stop now. Their remaining in position tilts the balance in the Pangandamans favor made even more unfair in a justice system perceived to be very corrupt where the highest bidder wins and worst when combined with intimidation by licensed thugs.

In effect their suit against Bambee was to validate their side of the story telling a lie errr version that the aggressor was the father and son, yeah right like we will fall for that as if we were born yesterday. Offense is the best defense so to silence their opponent they resort to all the resources available to them as public officials in their turf at that truly makes this a one-sided affair.

Nasser Pangandaman, Sr. in failing to intimidate the numerous bloggers with his karmic mantra has to zero in on bambee:
He appealed to bloggers to stop accusing them on the Web. The secretary even warned bloggers against karma.

“I appeal to the bloggers to stop this. They also have their families, they have parents and siblings. Our family is already hurting. I hope this doesn’t happen to you (bloggers),” the secretary said.
Exactly why bloggers are enraged about this and blogging about the incident so that people are made aware of the dangers of getting close to gorillas errr politicians
whose uncivilized behavior is just not worth risking one's life and limb. The choice is upon us not to let these impunity unchecked and to allow them to validate their sick notion of might is right in this day and age of higher evolved civilization is just not right and unacceptable. The Philippines is a civilized society unless morons wanted to prove us wrong by wallowing in the muck of their rotten to the core abrasive abuse of power, then so be it.

We cannot abandon Bambee De La Paz and her family now, we need to rally behind them or allow
powerful clans of the warlord type of these gorillas on the green to borrow Mr. Doronillas term to not just cavort in the green but wrought injustice against ordinary citizens further perverting an already perverted justice system. We need to step up the petition and gather more signatures or we let these abrasive abusers of power trample our rights and dignity..... you'll never know because one day we might be at the receiving end of this monstrosity and all because we did not care to do something about it when we can.

Sign the petition in support of Ang Kapatiran Party's call for the resignation of DAR Secretary Nasser Pangandaman, Sr. and his son Mayor Nasser Pangandaman, Jr. to help the De la Paz in their quest for an impartial resolution of their cases.......

Outrageous Callousness of GMA Angers FilAms

Filipino Americans actively lobbying for the Filipino Veterans (FilVets) equity bill's legislative victory celebration spoiled by the outrageous callousness of Gloria M. Arroyo’s reported impending sale of Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

Ernie Gange, co founder of NaFFA and NAFVE member is asking Senators Dick Gordon, Nene Pimentel and fellow countrymen if there is indeed a CA$H SUNDUAN (shady deal) or if the sale of VMMC to private developers is a done deal, to quote:

We read Neal Cruz of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and it appears that it is true.

Defense Undersecretary Ernesto Carolina did not deny it.

The visiting delegation to the USA, members of the Committee on National Defense of the Philippine Congress led by Chairman Antonio Magsaysay Diaz, Rozzano Biazon and Roman Romulo, they admitted that they did not know that the sale of VMMC is going on.

Congressman Tony Magsaysay Diaz will resign if the sale of the Veterans Memorial Hospital is consummated.

Where does Dick (Sen Richard Gordon) and Nene (Sen. Aquilino Pimentel) stand on this?

Who will get the commission?

And how much is the CA$H $UNDUAN?

Is it true that VMMC was a gift from the people of the United States to the people of the Philippines?

What was the condition?

Can the Philippines sell it without the consent of the donors?

What are you going to do with the sick veterans?

Will both of you agree to sell the Veterans Memorial Hospital?

We want to hear your side of this CA$H $UNDUAN. Please comment.

Luis Ramos in an email to Ernie Gange has dug deeper into the outrageous arrangement that has the makings of a shady deal through his sources reported:

From a very reliable source, the "sale" of the Veterans Memorial Hospital at Quezon City is all done and over except for the signing of the Agreements and/or relevant Presidential Proclamation. The source added that the "sale" of the VMH property is part of the grand design to commercial the entire area of 250 hectares (VMH included). VMH property is a prime area situated in the vicinity of SM Mall and the Trinoma Mall (Ayala Group). This "sale" is concocted by the QC Mayor Sonny Belmonte, Vice-President Noli De Castro (representing Malacañang/NHA) and very likely, the Veterans Federation of the Philippines. The VFP should very well know this because there could never be a "sale" without their approval.

The purported "sale" has the smack of raising funds for the 2010 presidential election. The administration party may very likely put up the tandem of Sonny Belmonte-Noli De Castro tandem for the presidency and vice-presidency position or vice-verza.

Although the deal is practically done and over but the signing, we could still stop the "sale" by vigorous lobby efforts ie going to the press and continued pressures from NaFFAA or all other groups there in the US, especially the Filipino veterans, The VMH must not be sold because its historical value and it's part of Filipino heritage which must be beyond the commerce of man. Emphasize that why you're doing your utmost best and fighting to the hilt just to have the bill passed in the US Congress, here comes the present dispensation selling the VMH. The "sale" would definitely have a chilling and negative effect on the passage of the bill at the US Lower House.
I suggest that you do this ASAP.

Indeed, it does have a chilling and negative effect on the lobby effort especially when the effort is now focused in the US Congress which is bigger in scale in terms of the number of representatives the lobbyist has to win over for the FilVets cause. Ernie Gange says it will be a tougher fight in the US House because of the need to get 281 votes, which represent 2/3rds majority of the 435-Member US House of Representatives.

This is just as sick as it can get, imagine the aging veterans in their 80’s and 90’s treated with utter disrespect by their very own president together with her minions while FilAms are at their wits end trying to improve their lot is literally being sabotaged by greed and callousness. To quote Ernie Ramos Co-Chair of NaFFA, NAFVE member and a proud son of WWII Filipino Veteran:

"Vigilance is the price of victory" so they say. So -- let's not allow another travesty of injustice sully the dignity of our remaining WW II veterans!

And let's be counseled by the words of the British poet Edmund Burke: "For evil to triumph, it's for good men (and women) to do nothing."

Luis Ramos believes that the “sweetheart” deal is not possible without the VFP knowing about it and further questioned whether there was collusion on those involved. Meanwhile Ernie Ramos calls it a stab at the back of the veterans and concurred with Neal Cruz in the purported construction of a new Veterans Hospital elsewhere is subjecting the Bataan Death March veterans to yet another round of death march……. How ironic and pathetic indeed seeing the president and her minions as the modern counterpart of Kempetai in their atrocious cruelty towards the aging veterans in the twilight of their years treated with unspeakable disrespect out of pure greed. An outrageous elder abuse I should say but what can we expect from a president with questionable mandate anyway?

It is definitely an uphill legislative battle and instead of supporting the cause of the veterans this administration only serves as an extra baggage that may derail the lobby effort, an added strain to the lobbyist they don’t need at this crucial point in time. It is up to us if we are going to allow evil to prevail............. now is the time to act, we cannot allow this travesty to our WWII FilVets. Here are some email contact info on some members of the Philippine Senate who are Chairman of different committes, Senators Rodolfo Biazon, National Defense & Security committee, Pia Cayetano, Health & Demography and Alan Peter Cayetano, Blue Ribbon in preventing the illegal and anomalous sale of property that belongs to the Filipino Veterans.

More on PAL Experience

This rude encounter with PAL staffers by Mr. & Mrs. Aniceto is not going away with passing the buck response from the airline company. Rudy has left a message at the other entry tited "Philippine Airlines Abused Elderly Passengers?" to let us know of the developments regarding their ill treatmentfrom the hands of PAL staffers.
Below are the responses from yahoo groups some from expats and Filams sharing their "memorable" experience with the flag carrier. If you are inclined to let them know here is the data where they can be reached:

yes my friend , that is very unfortunate and very out of character for pilipinos . philippine airlines is forced to make commercial decisions based on the ticket class . they failed to warn the elderly gentleman of the conditions of passage .

philippine airlines has had a hard time cutting the mustard in a deregulated market.

they are known as p a l = plane always late
they are known as p a l = palpak air lines ( not good )

( this is showing my age ) i can remember the days when they flew from australia in d c 9 aircraft . it was a drunks paradise as every body camped at the rear galley drinking beer, ha ha ha the plane flew at 2 0 degrees off parallel (horizon) they used to fly b a c 111 on the domestic routes , known as the flying tank.

Unfortunately, my one and only trip on PAL was similar to the one by Rodolfo. I had a 3 week vacation and had planned down to the hour. I left Florida on time and after going thru Atlanta arrived in L.A. Trudged up to the PAL counter for check in and was told they had no aircraft for the flight. The plane from Manila had not arrived and no reason was given. I was told the flight would be rescheduled for the following morning at 10 a.m. and to return then. I politely informed the counter person that since the delay was their fault, they owed me a hotel for the night. They became upset as evidently I was the first one to know I had this right. After about 45 minutes they told us we would be taken to a hotel and picked up the following morning. I then asked for meal money and they went into a tizzy. Eventually I was told to get it from the hotel. I was given $15.00 for dinner and $10.00 for breakfast. We were taken to a Holiday Inn Express in Hawthorne, CA. with no restaurant. The only places to eat were a McDonalds and a Jack in the Box, both a long walk. The next morning I was talking to some Filipinos who were on the flight and they were surprised that I had gotten that amount of money. They were given $10.00 for dinner and $5.00 for breakfast. I noticed then that the level of courtesy extended was lower for the Filipinos. The return flight was only an hour late leaving. Since then, I have flown Northwest or Cathay Pacific. I prefer Cathay as it is direct to Cebu from Hong Kong. PALhas consistently resisted any open skies agreement. They realize all too well that their customer service cannot compete with other airlines. Given any other choice, I will never use them again. They seem to think they are doing me a favor by allowing me to fly with them. This attitude is not conducive to repeat customers.

John W Harris

Therein lies the problem. You used a watch and a calendar and planned it "to the hour". Having not learned about "Pinoy time".

Relax, enjoy and remember, whatever or whoever you need to do or get done in the Philippines……... It will take a day.

UNLESS it is complicated. Then it may take a week.

Texkano

Customer service has always sucked on PAL, I do fly them domestically (Manila to Legaspi) just because it is so hard to book a Cebu Pacific flight from within the US. Just an aside, never plan any trip down to the hour, what with delays on the increase, more lost luggage then ever before there are just too many things that can go wrong. Plus in PI you have to deal with Pinoy time.

Rick

Its unfortunate that PAL would torture 2 senior citizens in the manner described in the post. I have flown roundtrip from San Francisco to Bohol 3 times and I found the PAL service to be very good. The staff was courteous and helpful. There is a 12 hour wait in Manila on my return flight to the states and all 3 times I have been given a very nice suite at a quality hotel, either the Heritage or Century Park Hotel. They give me the choice of the room or meals. I am surprised to hear of their bad service, its the exact opposite of the service I have received.

Best,
Pottbelly

When we allow abuse, we get it. The thing to do is - RAISE HELL!!!

Three incidents for me.

First incident - I just got a ticket booked on Sept. 10, 2001 from LAX to Manila. Then the next day when my agent was to mail the airline ticket, the day was 9/11. Before the ticket got sent, all planes were grounded for 3 days. My flight was Sept. 21.

Anyway, I went ahead flew to LAX to catch the PAL flight that was to leave at 10 p.m., Sept. 21. However, we were told that additional flights were scheduled to accomodate those who were pushed back since 9/11. We were to wait for a PAL plane from Honolulu that will follow the 10 p.m. (my) flight at 11 p.m. The plane didn't arrive. So, we waited at the McDonald's on the mezzanine. No news. It was 12.30 a.m. just spent a MD voucher for a late dinner.

I went down to the PAL counter - asking for the plane schedule. I was told our flight will be tomorrow (next day) at 10 a.m. I fumed. No offer of hotel for the rest of the night. The counter people were busy after I was told of the flight next day. I started off - like, "you mean we will sit here all night waiting for 10 a.m. flight tomorrow? blah, blah, do you realize I came halfway across America (from Arkansas) to get here to catch the 10 p.m. flight? blah-blah, blah with my hands on my hips wanting to wage an assault! The counter clerk disappeared quickly and came back. "Mrs. if you go out of the building, you will find a shuttle bus that will take you to the hotel for PAL passengers!! You need to hurry or you will not get one!"

So, I picked up my bag and ran out. I caught the shuttle bus starting to leave full of passengers. I got to the hotel. Had no change clothes so I called my daughter to bring me some change clothing. She can't because the airport is cordoned off one mile around. I took off my underclothing, washed and turned the hair dryer on all night. I slept naked under the bedsheets!!! Too bad, Tim was not with me! Hahahahaha!

Second incident - my sister was in Manila for a 2:30 p.m. PAL flight to Iloilo. She is an insulin-dependent diabetic and her schedule was already messing up her level of BS. The plane was rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Then the announcement came - the plane will leave at 5:30 p.m. That did it. She was going hypo. She ate to ward it off. Went up to the counter and demanded to be flown out right away, any plane that leaves sooner for Iloilo. She raised her own hell. She came from London. She is a very exacting person, very British for promptness but very hostile Filipino for mess-ups! She went on and on telling them about her delayed flight and people waiting in Iloilo since 2 p.m. OK. They appeased her.

An announcement came that they board this plane. So, they all did. Inside the plane, there was no activity. They expected to leave - another hour, they were still at the tarmacs. So, she went after the first attendant alive on her warpath. Started off her rantings. Told them she was starving and they better leave now! There was no pilot, so she threatened to get off! Cellphones started working, flight crew calling all over. A pilot appeared at the door! She was still standing at the door ready to get down. The flight attendant sat her in the front row, offered to serve her something to eat. She complied and was still fuming with her British "bloody hells". She ate what they gave her. Few minutes, the engine started, and she returned to her seat. The passengers clapped and booed the crew. Everybody started talking while the plane taxied off the runway. The passengers thanked her for the guts!

Third incident - same flight for me, my husband and my g-daughter. Flight was delayed two hours. We waited. Then an announcement that the flight delay is another hour. When the next hour came, the flight attendants arrived at the counter. So, we all queued to board. No sign of boarding, so we all sat down again. The flight attendants sat there, sat there, and then started to tell stories, giggled and laughed and just as though nothing is going to take place next (board!!). I started getting the creeps - hungry, dizzy, and the worst can happen next. I stood up, went to the counter, and looked at the attendants still giggling, laughing and started off - HEY! ARE WE LEAVING OR NOT OR WHEN? DO YOU KNOW WE HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE 12 NOON AND WE HAVEN'T LEFT YET? IT IS ABOUT 5PM!! DO YOU EVEN HAVE A PLANE? I DON'T SEE ONE! DO YOU REALIZE THE PASSENGERS ARE HUNGRY? ME? DO YOU HAVE AN AMBULANCE TO TAKE ME OUT TO THE HOSPITAL IF I COLLAPSE HERE? DO YOU KNOW WE HAVE NOT EATEN YET? BLAH,BLAH, BLAH AND ALL OF YOU GIGGLING AS THOUGH WE ARE NOT PAYING TO GET ON THE FLIGHT THAT YOU HAVE POSTPONED SINCE 2:30 P.M.?

They were quiet, stopped the motions and started to pick up the phone, cellphones, calling. My husband pulled me over and offered to buy me something to eat. I refused. I told him, I want to go to the hospital right now!!!

Then the announcement - for passengers to get something to eat at this kiosk inside the lounge. So everybody went for that. But I had mine already bought. I sat down needing anger management right then. Burly personnel came to the counter and talked to the crew. Soon an announcement - to board in the next few minutes. We lined up again and SURE! WE BOARDED! The plane took off right away!

REGARDLESS WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS, GO FOR IT! Give them your hell! Don't let them abuse you - they are offering you service and you are paying for that service. Get it!

Happy flying! God bless.

Elsa

Social Graces 101

This falls under the category of "Shit Happens." When going to a restaurant if the service is bad and you don't like the meal you selected, do you make a scene? If you do you are the one that looks like an ass. The proper thing to do is leave a reduced tip, later if asked give the place a bad recommendation then never go there again. If the service and product is as bad to others as your perception with time the establishment will loose customers then go under or they will fix the problem. If they stay in business with no change then perhaps you may have the wrong perception. This applies to all customer service type businesses, 99.9% of the time you have alternatives. It don't get easier than that.

John K

My, my...I am not suprised at all at all these stories of abuse, arrogance and plain ineptness of PAL personnel!

That they keep on repeating this display of indifference bordering on abuse especially of elderly passengers is obscene....

I had my own share of stories to tell of PAL personnel in LAX, after an announcement of a 3 hour delay in our flight, just shrugging their shoulders when queried for the reason for the delay.
Of course, I raised hell and told them off: " Hey, is it very difficult to tell us that the pilots died? or, the plane crashed? or whatever?!"

And, some of them meekly answered: " Ma'am, we really do not know the reason for the 3-hour delay..."

When later, I asked the purser for an explanation for why no one, as in, no one can tell me why our flight was delayed, she said: " Ma'am, sorry ho... Pero, yuon namang mga tao sa LAX ay hindi talaga taga PAL kung hindi mga contractuals lang..." Yikes!

Attention: My good friend and colleague Cesar...sa dinami dami ng mga reklamo na ito, gawa ka na nga ng website para naman mabasa ng mga taga PAL at magbago na sila ng estilo ng kanilang pamamalakad....ano ba yan!!!

Ako po ay na off load last 28 July 2007 from Manila. My wife and I traveled together. She is a handicap passenger and on wheelchair with catheter. She underwent cataract surgery two weeks back.

My It's about experience started when I check-in at 730pm for GUM and your staff NING said that I cannot be boarded because I hold a non-revenue ticket as they are only accepting revenue passengers without any other reason but that. I told her what PAL Guam office told me that I will not encounter any problem and my booking was ok and confirmed with seat assignments but she would not hear me as she said they do not honor anything from Guam. I even have it my booking reconfirmed. I asked for her complete name but she refused to answer me. She just told me that I cannot be boarded that's all. She was affront rude and disrespectful. She asked me to get out of the line and wait if I want. She can check-in my incapacitated wife can be boarded without any problem.

Why is your staff overly rude and disrespectful? We waited until the closure of the counter for Guam. Unfortunately, we were not taken in for consideration and compassion. We were not minded at all. The porter brought us to counter 13 for the reschedule for the following day. They gave us a gift of rebooking NUF free. Was it my problem to get into this dilemma? Your staff at counter 13 shouted and told me that her transaction will be long and we cannot wait for her. It was good thing that the guy occupying counter 11 observed what has happened and called us to assist and help. He gave us sorry head shake when I said I was off-loaded for no valid explanation except that I am a non-revenue ticket holder. That was already 10pm. We did not have our dinner and my pitiful wife was so stressed out and hungry. My problem was where the hell will we stay and rest until your 10:20pm flight for the following day? Throbbing pain and anger ang feeling ko for the inconsideration you gave my wife and me. We finally ate at 2am.

I did not ask and begged for the ticket. I won the promo and in our excitement we decided to buy another for my wife and what a presumably happy homecoming experience turned out be a miserable incident. Had I known that I will be overly bothered using the ticket they awarded me - I will refuse the free travel outright.

We do not deserve your appalling treatment.

The following day your customer relations officers (duty officer should be helping pax like me at 6am)but was never available. Only the guards were there. Where are they? The Guards are your customer relations officers as they feed and keep giving me numbers to call (879-5698/5916/5918/5917/5920/8558000) that are neither working or a fax phone or just ringing.

Finally at 930am, someone answered and handed it to a certain Rene Reyes, who talked to me and said that I cannot be boarded as the flight was over booked and my priority is PD8 meaning that my ticket is bookable but can be off loaded anytime without any notice. If I want to be boarded I need to change my priority code to N with the VP and that will be very hard, she said. And will still wait til Monday.
I was also advise that my wife was off-loaded due to an immigration problem and the counter people were the only ones who knew about it. How can that be possible, we never had the chance to reach the Immigration due to my outright bumped off. She was not off-loaded in the first place. She is incapacitated and will need someone to assist her to go the Immigration.

Why all these problems cropped up and presumed when it was just a plain classic case of an unexplained off-loading a promo winner of a non-rev ticket? Very good Advertisement.

FYI, we are green card holders and her passport expires in 2011 and our documents are inorder.

We are poor elderly passengers but we are not beggars to be push around the way you did to my wife and me.

This is a pitiful and deplorable experience for someone who housed and accommodated your staff out of kindness for months (Agnes Buenaventura and another male person from your PAL Sales office in Manila) from an unknown environment years ago when they were assigned in Guam without any compensation.

Why is respect for elders out-dated and obsolete?

Are your staff foreign to compassion and consideration?

Are these the kind of high-tech training they get now?

The slogan "It's about experience" that you are very proud to claim was made sure was done to us.

Mine will be My Pal's Pathetic Experience (MYPalPAc EX).

I know you will do nothing about my My Pal's Pathetic Experience.

Now I know that your airline represents mga PINOY na mayabang at bastos (egoistic and uncouth) and your airline is elder-unfriendly. You made us feel that we are nothing. That you do not need our business. Ayaw ninyo ng bother na walang monetary na kapalit (You don't serve people without monetary compensation) . You all do not believe in respect and sincerity.

Kaya nga "It's about experience". Good or bad it's still about experience.

Bastos kayo! (You are rude!) Wala kayong (You have no) respect. You have no regard for the elderly.May you experience the extreme thoughtlessness and insensitivity you provided my wife.

CAPITAL BASTOS (rude) kayo MGA TAGA PHILIPPINE AIRLINES.

I REFUSE TO BE A FILIPINO KUNG KASAMA KO KAYO MGA TAGA (to be identified with you) PHILIPPINE AIRLINES.
NAKAKAHIYA KAYO! (SHAME ON YOU!)

I will refuse PAL TICKET UNTIL I die.

Thank you and GOD Bless!
