The Romualdez, Roxas, & Aquino political Drama in Haiyan’s aftermath

The bickering, blaming game, and the crying drama have been dominating my Facebook wall and it can really get tiring or even annoying. What makes it even obnoxiously annoying is how this squabble is starting to create a wedge or was it a simulated wedge that what I am seeing are just paid hacks influencing the gullible social media people?
Fish tale straight from the fishes mouth.
It’s a damn if you do and damn if you don’t situation, thanks and no thanks to the paid hacks muddling the issue. Not that the national government was remiss in early warning. As a matter of fact the president no less went on prime time national TV to announce the dangers of the impending super typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. How exactly did some people react if I may ask? They ridiculed the president and even got upset because their prime time idiot box show was interrupted by the president who they believe just wants his face splattered on national TV. They can't believe the president they keep calling abnoy is wasting their time on some typhoons that is a normal occurrence of hitting the country 20 times a year anyway. Or so they thought not realizing this one packs a wallop so powerful that it has becomes the strongest that ever made landfall.

Sadly ignorance can kill and in the hands of the disgraced now resurrected political family dynasty it can kill not just one or two human beings but thousands that could have been prevented with just a few keystroke on the computer. How hard or how difficult is it for the mayor of Tacloban to go search the web what is a storm surge? Don’t tell me they don’t have the luxury of time because in 22 seconds google came out with 55,100,000 results and they could have grasped the enormity of the grave dangers to start evacuating the people to safer grounds. If the people of Tacloban see their mayor ignorantly thinking that he can sit out Yolanda/Haiyan's wrath how exactly will the people react especially when no one told them that a storm surge is one of the major causes of death in a super typhoon?

Instead of overseeing and monitoring the emergency situation he decided to just order his chief of staff to stay at city hall to monitor what is happening while he sits it out in comfort by his beach front mansion rendered useless as he clings for dear life by the roof. Imagine the stupidity! Knowing his mansion is right smack the path of a super typhoon and he opted to sit it out is like a script out of the Dumb and Dumber movie, LOL.

So far Mayor Alfred Romualdez has successfully deflected the issue on his accountability and responsibility on the thousands of death that could have been avoided. By playing a blaming game complete with crying drama that gives tear jerker soap opera a run for their money. Romualdez story telling a lie is just like a tele-novela that gets improvised as the series unfolds as if concocted by writers for audiences to demand for more drama or was it? I am not a fan of Roxas but I can surely understand where he is coming from being a victim of outright lie myself concocted by a guy but worse than a fishwife gossip monger that's so fantastic to even be believable, hehehe.

Politicians are known for white lies while corrupt public officials as we all know have elevated lying into an art form. So while DILG rules indicate that B&W communication is needed for them to take over it is still just a formality. One has to insist on it when dealing with a liar. The media blitz complete with edited video highlighting Roxas comment presented in the wrong context plus the crying drama and outright lies of Romualdez validates such fears coming from Roxas. This is where the irony is, while people complain about the use of the term storm surge that they have no clue and even the Kring Kring of the wife of Romualdez admits on TV. There seems to be no lack of talent when it comes to editing audio and video to present Roxas in the wrong context enough to convince the gullible that Roxas and the Aquino administration is unfairly pressuring the poor victim of a mayor in "politicizing" the tragedy for Mar's presidential ambition, LOL. Well, to say that people are a sucker for the underdogs is an understatement but is Romualdez really an underdog? Lest some people forget Romualdez belongs to the long disgraced and discredited political family dynasty, a close relative of the frozen stiff one former dictator who once ruled the country with an iron fist and a reputation as a congenital liar. A Romualdez of the Imeldific tribe wannabe royal blood that's more like prone to blood sucking than royal.

Romualdez should consider himself lucky that the president only blamed him for his debacle and poor preparation, he should have been held accountable and responsible for the thousands of death for dereliction of duty and incompetence with deadly consequence. But guess what, this is where trapos excel at like the Arroyo’s, able to deflect the issue by saying the president is playing a blaming game and gullible people are taking the bait hook, line, and sinker.

Funny how people or were those paid hacks accusing Roxas of politicizing the tragedy when it was Alfred Romualdez that sees politics in what is asked of him. He sees the a black and white request as a resignation letter when he wants curfew imposed by the soldiers and his fans rants and raves right away that Mar was too fixated on processes and too legalistic. Perhaps, Roxas came in too strong but this is a nation where nothing moves without the “processes” that was put in place due to decades old corruption. This is a nation where processes are interpreted in so many creative ways and failure to do so can also be interpreted in various creative ways. Despite all the whining and crying and on national TV at that by Romualdez he never wrote anything as requested. Come to think of it, he maybe the dumbest person there is because how can you write a letter of request that serves as a resignation letter beats the crap out of me? LOL. But then again this the husband and wife that has no clue what is a storm surge and now does he think his crocodile tears is enough for him to escape responsibility and accountability for the deaths in the thousands of his constituents?

Someone please organize all the survivors of the Tacloban Yolanda/Haiyan and sue the LGU, yes that means the crying drama prince mayor and Kring Kring of a wife councilor of wrongful death class action lawsuit for incompetence and criminal negligence to protect the welfare and well being of their constituents. No one says that taking the straight narrow path is easy, it is not as straight as we thought it is and there are roadblocks and other hurdles that we need to pass in order to get where we want to be............. But then again is this administration really serious or are they being taken for a ride by the corrupt people around them?

Kalokohan errr Caloocan Congressional Candidate Dale Agoncillo Malapitan

If we go by the folly of Grace Poe’s illusory take on political dynasty with her delicadeza panacea to dissuade clan members of political family from running, this one trumps her solution making her appear neither here nor there, LOL.

Dale “Along” Malapitan is the son of Oca Malapitan former lower house of Lolong este Congress representative now running for mayor while Along the son former councilor and Bagong Barrio Barangay Chairman takes over his position. There is a reason why there is a constitutional provision imposing term limits on elective position but just the same they skirt the term limits by playing a game of political musical chair within the family. They do this knowing fully well that said practice is shameless with utter disregard for propriety or delicadeza. The term limit is very specific and yet trapos deliberately skirts this by going around it, gaming the system like a Mafiosi. If the trapos are disrespecting and criminally neglecting passage of the enabling law on the constitutional prohibition of political dynasty how exactly will the trapos police themselves thru delicadeza as Grace Poe proposed is beyond me.

Barangay being the smallest unit of government an ancient relic of the past feudal age resurrected by the conjugal Marcos dictatorship and retained by Cory Aquino is the most useless government unit that is nothing but an added burden to the taxpayers. Hit hard are property owners where local Barangays get a percentage of the revenue collected from the property tax whose main function is really to act as the politician’s grassroots machinery. We the people shoulder the election expense so these idle people with plenty of time in their hands are given government authority when they are really useless in terms of curbing criminality because at times some are even involve not in preventing crimes but actually committing heinous criminal acts themselves like the proverbial fox guarding the chicken coop.

The problem with pea brained people when given police like power and authority to apprehend minors for vagrancy is that some of these Barangay Chairmen think that they have the authority and power to release their sexual perversion and sick predatory pedophilia upon their apprehended hapless victims. Back in April 12, 2008, “Mila” who was then a 16 year old minor together with her then 14 year old cousin on their way home in Bagong Barrio was apprehended for violating the curfew for minors by Barangay tanods Joselito Lim, Roderick Antonio and Danilo Bautista, and barangay councilman Pedro Tolentino, “Larry,” “Michael” and several John Does headed by then Barangay Chairman Dale “Along” Malapitan. Mila narrated that instead of being castigated and given a sermon for being out late they were forced to drink alcohol and ordered to obey whatever Along Malapitan tells them to do. This is a serious allegation and if true have they not heard of corruption of minors especially coming from one with the power and authority of a government cloak at that forcing minor to drink alcohol? Forcing minors to drink alcohol is already a serious offense because alcohol has a tendency to makes even mature women lose control and vulnerable to rape, what more with minors in the hands of pedophiles? Mila further narrated that she was brought to the toilet and raped by Along Malapitan and the uncle of the Barangay Chairman allegedly the brother of Along’s father then took her and her cousin to a motel where they were again raped.

This case highlights what is wrong with our government institutions because of ignorant people and power tripping criminal minded elected officials gaming the system. So “Mila” being a minor at the time became a ward of the DSWD, she is the victim here and not the juvenile in conflict with the law so what gives. The sad part is after spending three and a half year with DSWD she learned that the case was dismissed not having a clue how her case was “dismissed.” She felt like she was imprisoned and rightly so because in her 3 ½ years stay at DSWD no one even thought of continuing her education of which she has only reached 2nd grade? So how come juveniles in conflict with the law are sent back home immediately after they are arrested and yet held “Mila” for the longest time until her case was dismissed, does it smell something fishy here or what?

Without the support of the Women’s Advocacy for Gender Equality (WAGE) and my Facebook friend IBP spokeswoman Trixie Cruz-Angeles taking her case pro-bono, we would not have learned about “Mila’s” ordeal. Something like that you would have expected a happy ending but not in a society where endemic corruption seems hopelessly rampant and out of control. In order for Trixie to help “Mila” with her case she needs to get hold of the court case documents to study and review what legal options are available for “Mila.” But lo and behold DSWD refused to hand over the legal documents to Trixie or the victim (she being 21 years old now) on the grounds that it was confidential because at the time of the incident the victim was a minor. True the victim was a minor back then but when she turns 21 everything changes and what law were they citing if I may ask that prohibits releasing court documents pertaining to the victim itself even if she was a minor requesting of a copy of her own court case? As if that is not dumb enough the response Trixie was getting was that the lawyers of DSWD are studying if they can release the documents to the victim or her lawyers is just the height of stupidity. Either that or they are hiding something from the victim now that she was able to get a lawyer representing her?

So skeptics are asking why only now when Along Malapitan is running for a congressional seat, is this not tainted with politics so they ask. Really now, well if these political families stop running for office which is like every 3 year cycle we will not have a problem with timing is it not? Instead of questioning the timing as if it will just help their opponents should we not welcome this so that we are able to know the kind of people we are voting in office who really don’t deserve even a Metro Aide position since they can’t be trusted for their predatory pedophilia? But then again if convicted pedophile like Romeo Jalosjos can shamelessly go out in public campaigning and even endorsing candidates as if they are the exemplary leaders of the nation and dumb BOBOtantes keep on voting for them where are we really headed?

The problem is how can we blame the BOBOtante when they are really left with no choice but the same rotten names they see like a recurring nightmare haunting them? Perhaps we should really seriously consider lobbying for an anabling law defining political dynasty and for once make a concerted and conscious no not unconscious, hehehe effort at following the rules and laws without trying to always look for exceptions as in they don't apply to me or us but just them.

Grace Poe & Her Brand of Delicadeza

Some people and members of Team Pinoy campaign believes that Grace Poe deserves a senate seat but what exactly qualifies her to a seat in the upper house of TONGress errr legislative is a million dollar question. This begs us to question if having a famous action star actor father who lost a presidential bid qualifies the daughter to an elective post?

Perhaps it is how the article was written and if it is the writer did her a disservice because she really sounded like she was winging it and don’t really know squat what she was talking about in attacking the “Anti-Political Dynasty Bill” daw, LOL. I wonder what bill she is yapping about because technically speaking there is no bill to speak of when those that were introduced did not even reach first reading, hehehe.

The idiocy never stops there and just like a poker player with a losing hand shoving all her chips in the middle against an opponent holding the nuts she just keeps on going with her arguments that political dynasties exist even in advance democracies like Europe and the US. What she forgot or perhaps did not know is that unlike those advance democracies with political dynasties they don’t have a constitutional provision prohibiting political dynasty. Determined to lose all her chips and even the shirt on her back she offers her unrealistic “genius” like solution to stop the few ruling elite families from forming a political dynasty by delicadeza. Delicadeza she says and when if I may ask has delicadeza been observed by shameless trapos in the Philippines, is she on some strong stuff or something? Is she going to author and introduce a “Delicadeza Bill” if she gets elected?

This early she seems to be catching on with the trapo degenerate thinking and like the shameless greedy members of political dynasties that sees the constitutional prohibition to be exclusionary she brings the arguments up a notch that the “bill” is anti-democratic. Obviously this woman is running solely on the basis of her father’s popularity and has no clue why there is a constitutional prohibition on political dynasty.

While there are political dynasties in Europe and the US they were there because of their exemplary public service. Unlike in the Philippines where political and economic power has a tendency to concentrate in the hands of the few ruling Trapo families because we live in a semi-feudal society mired in poverty in a political system that is anchored on patronage and personality. When politics becomes a family entrepreneurial business profit center how exactly does Grace think that they will withdraw out of delicadeza? We have not heard anyone do that since her dad the late FPJ was a young struggling actor and if there are classy people acting with delicadeza they are more of an exception than the rule.

This is not a question of some are good and some are bad. Also don’t believe what your future kulig este colleague Nancy Binay says that it’s all about branding or family brand because a katuray by any other name is still a katuray, it is still ugly and smells nauseous, LOL. In advance democracies there is really no need to prohibit political dynasties because there is a sense of propriety but just because it works there it does not mean it will work in the Philippines even if you legislate “delicadeza.”

She obviously was not paying attention or she is really clueless on what kind of society we are living in and why the prohibition on political dynasty was included in the constitution. While some will argue that we need to change our constitution, it is so far well written in terms of leveling the political playing field. In order to ensure equal access to governance and give the marginalized a shot at the legislative process, the party list system was adopted to allow the poor marginalized sector (now even the political marginalized as reinterpreted by the auction house este Supreme Court are allowed) access to the legislative process otherwise unreachable even in a multi-party system. In order to level the playing field even more we have switched from the exclusionary 2 party system to a multi-party system thus allowing more leaders to win elective positions. In order to ensure that deserving genuine leaders of the people are given a fighting chance the constitution prohibits political dynasty but left it hanging when they leave it for congress to pass an enabling law. Now more than 2 decades and a half of passing the constitution our lawmakers has deliberately ignored passing an enabling law defining political dynasty that will once and for all settle the legal question of the degree of consanguinity and affinity, and Grace Poe expects delicadeza to stop the proliferation of political dynasties? But then again hearing delicadeza from one who is running based on the popularity of her late father who had never held even a lowly public office but a legacy of action flicks is not exactly kosher. She says that voters should be given the choice, this choice is actually very limiting when the voters see the same names every election. If that is how she sees voters choice then we have a problem because that is not exactly giving the voters a choice if we go by what the framers of our constitution envisioned……

Isko Moreno, Bingo, & the Estrada circus

There is a very logical and rational reason why most Philippine actors must not enter politics especially those that offers nothing relevant to the issues at hand but their sheer popularity. Of course you can’t prevent dimwits from making a fool of themselves errrr running for office as that is the essence of democrazy errr democracy where every citizen is given equal access to be at the corridor or even seat of power.

When Isko Moreno came to town just like any circus they normally leave town but not Isko Moreno, he became a mainstay and even invited more clowns to help him mismanage the city of Manila, LOL. Yes Isko, the same guy who made a fool of himself during the Luneta hostage crisis but the sad part is he never knew how dimwitted he was at the time and I suspect up to now.

Ok, before anyone accuses me of being a partisan in the Manila race which the Comelec says the campaign has not even started daw, let me state for the record that between Lim and the pardoned convicted plunderer Erap “Asiong” Estrada, I really am no big fan of both. I am not a trapo follower, never been one, never will and let me state why.

The current Mayor is better known as “Dirty Harry” and that alone scares the daylight out of me, so I am really not inclined to support him.

Asiong as we all know is a convict and thanks and no thanks to the now accused of the crime of plunder Gloria Arroyo, Erap was the beneficiary of an executive pardon. Of course, the woman probably saw what was ahead of her and might see herself in the same boat, so why not set a precedent and hopefully the next president will be a dimwit. The only problem was when Cory died, the political dynamics change and the dimwit she hope will return the favor only made it to the second spot, LOL. Oh stop it, I know you are probably thinking or saying to yourself that this guy must be nuts not to see the other dimwit, hehehe. Perhaps, the other guy is also a dimwit but that does not guarantee that Arroyo will benefit from it but on the contrary she may just get in deeper problem because even a dimwit will know enough not to contradict his main campaign promise……… prosecute Arroyo, LOL.

The circus started errrr the story begins with the arrest of Vice Mayor Isko Moreno together with his clowns’ errrr I meant Councilors Joel Chua, Ma. Asuncion “Re” Fugoso, Ernesto “Jong” Isip Jr. and Yul Servo Nieto and former Councilor Manuel Zarcal over a bingo event on Tambunting Street, Barangay 374, Zone 38 in Sta. Cruz, Manila. Granted that Bingo is a parlor game and therefore a permit is not needed according to Isko, it is a different story when you do it on the streets involving hundreds of people. Isko further alleged that they were not selling tickets but the police says they were selling it for 10 pesos each with P5,000, P10,000 and P15,000 prize in cash , so who is lying here?

As if that was not bad enough it appears that Isko is the absentee ringleader errrr the leader of the pack of councilors who went to the scene and tried to intimidate and obstruct justice by inciting the crowed to riot, taunting and daring the officers the officers to arrest him while in the act of getting the number from the “bolilyo.” Acting in defiance will of course get you arrested and now he accuses Lim to be behind his arrest, hehehe what a dimwit, he did not even know he caused his own arrest with his dimwitted actions, LOL. Now Isko Moreno says he will file a case against the arresting officer, which I quote:

We will seek justice. We will not allow tyranny to prevail in Manila. We will fight corner by corner, street by street, barangay by barangay in Manila.

Duh, hello, did you not challenge the cops to arrest you while in the act of committing a crime? LOL.

Then the circus just got more amusing and with the kind of politicians running the Manila government one wonders how they are still solvent to this day, hehehe. They have a very flawed logic and the way they interpret the law is just ridiculous and I am now even a liar este lawyer, LOL. Let me just quote Isko’s remark on why he can’t be charged with violating election laws for early campaigning:

The vice mayor has also said that he cannot be accused of violating election laws because the campaign period for local candidates has yet to start on March 29.

“If I may quote [Comelec Chairman Sixto] Brillantes, may pasumpa-sumpa pa ang kabila sa peace covenant, wala rin nama pala. Walang pananakot, walang dahas na gagamitin, pasumpa-sumpa, ito ang natamasa namin. Sabi ni Chairman Brillantes, kayong mga local official, lahat ng ginagawa ng local official, wala pa yan because you’re not yet a candidate. You’ll be a candidate on March 29.” (If I may quote Chairman Brillantes who spoke during the peace covenant signing, they even took an oath and it’s now useless. They took an oath not to intimidate, use violence, they took an oath, look what happened to us. Chairman Brilalntes said, you local officials, all that you do is not yet counted because you’re not yet a candidate.)

TANGA, hehehe, clearly a disconnect or the guy simply has a comprehension problem. Lim says on TV Patrol that the Bingo tickets had the names of the UNA candidates printed and if Isko still believes he did not violate the election laws, those simply put are called E-V-I-D-E-N-C-E, LOL. But then again the Philippines just seem to have a very strange way of enforcing their laws because Brillantes seems to have absolved Isko and his gang mates errr party mates of breaking electoral laws. They conduct a bingo in public to supposedly entice the community to avail of the medical services they are giving and that is not a form of campaigning which is illegal since local elections will start in March? And what exactly is the point of enticing people to avail of their medical service, does that mean sick people will not avail of their free medical service if there is no gambling involved?

Come to think of it, it seems we are missing the bigger issue here. Clearly these clowns are sabotaging the police and the disrespect makes it extra difficult for the police to gain respect that they are trying desperately to fish out of the toilet. If "responsible leaders" are acting like a cell block mayor instead of a city, can we really expect improvement in law and order?

The Heroes in Renato Corona’s “Fake” Bank Account

It seems that if the rag tag politicians identified with accused electoral saboteur Gloria Arroyo will have and still have their way; they will hunt down and jail the people responsible for what they see, pathetic as they are, only they see as a dastardly act of exposing the numerous bank accounts including the highly state like secret dollar account of Renato Corona.

One is almost given the impression that these politicians who think they are the opposition just because they are former running dogs errr identified with the former plundering regime are really law abiding public officials strictly adhering to the rule of law.

The stupidity never ceases and since when did money laundering become a political platform? Forget I asked because in the plundered land of the Philippines the absurd takes a center stage in an Inquirer report by Gil C. Cabacungan titled, House opposition presses probe into leakage of Corona bank documents. In said report I received a response from a certain Mark, what probably sums up the so-called “opposition’s” sentiments on where they stand on money laundering, to quote:
Gag0.

Bibigyan mo ng medal ang nag leak ng information!

Are you out of your mind? Nababaliw ka na ba?

These people violated the law, and you commend them?

If it is your opinion that the law is so strict, ask your congressman to file a bill to amend it.

Let congress fix it.

Dapat sa iyo itapon sa basurahan kasama ni NoyNoy.

You don't even know how to act right in a civilized society.

 Do you understand, stupid?

Was the numb nut errr Mark right in his indignation at seeing how I felt about the source of the scandalous numerous bank accounts of Corona? Here is the comment I left at that report below that elicited a "brilliant" response:

No wonder the so-called minority identified with the plundering regime of Arroyo are so puny, these numb nuts are vent on prosecuting those who leaked the bank accounts of Renato Corona. A law that was legislated during the dictatorial regime of the frozen stiff one whose bank secrecy law is the strictest and frowned upon by civilized society due to the problem it poses on transparency and going after the plundered resources of the government.

Hypocrites known for flaunting their sick perversion of the institution and yet acts as if they are law abiding citizens strictly adhering to the rule of law. The only problem is the law they are so fixated at following is a law that is tailored fit for corrupt government officials, criminals of all kinds local and international where they can launder money in a secure, safe, out of reach of the police agencies and courts due to its absolute secrecy provision that makes us the laughing stock of civilized societies, LOL.

Dingbats, think they can fool the people all the time, keep at it and continually antagonize law abiding citizens with your perversion and you may soon face the wrath of the hungry and angry poor people fed up with your perversions.

The people who leaked Corona's bank accounts deserve a medal and they should be rewarded instead of prosecuted. They should be given immunity or amnesty for what they did is a service to the people who are tired with corrupt public officials of the elected and appointed ones. Those who want the source prosecuted are nothing but corrupt delusional amoral individuals hiding in an unjust law. A law that supports those with unexplained wealth stashing away their loots converted into dollars in our banking system that caters to criminals instead of hard working OFWs, who are the genuine dollar earners of the Philippines. I say expose the crooks for what they are and their hypocrite supporters deluding themselves that they can fool the people all the time!

It is unfortunate that there were so many unjust laws that Marcos left us and no one really paid attention or was it because patronage politics has that uncanny effect on politicians to become crooks? How about you, do you believe the source of the numerous bank accounts of Corona should be prosecuted or given a medal? If Gloria Arroyo can hail Chavit Singson a self-confessed Jueteng bagman as  hero why can't we in turn hail our heroes too? Don't you think those who work at the bank are more deserving of appreciation for exposing the truth than those with self-serving interest?

The banking secrecy law is obsolete, hanging on to a law that helps criminals launder dirty money in a safe, untouchable legal manner is corruption of the highest order.

Of course Corona being a thug that he is will not listen to what other religious organizations when it comes to opening his dollar accounts. Corona does not care what religious organizations says as long as he has the backing of fanatical fools like Iglesia ni Batman waving their support for absolute bank secrecy, LOL.... The next time we question why we are in a rut just look at the opportunist Iglesia ni Batman and you will know why, hehehe.

The best way to end the thuggery of a cheap justice is to follow what Walden Bello proposes, seize Corona's assets. I say seize Corona's properties and freeze his numerous bank accounts including the absolute secret dollar accounts, that is the only language a criminal understand to put him in his proper place. Do that and let us see if the cheap justice will still portray himself as a martyr to be pitied, and then we can reward the informer who gave the bank documents to the prosecution team which is really the standard in ill-gotten wealth cases, LOL.....

Renato Corona Cries & Fight

Some 100 mass attendees mostly judiciary employees sang “The Impossible Dream” at a mass sponsored by Renato Corona’s supporters. It was reported that the Corona couple was seen wiping their tears, it was just not clear if the song made them cry or was it how they sang it? Anyway, for whatever its worth the Corona couple truly deserved to be nominated to a best acting award with the Famas except reality shows specifically one about jerks unlike tele-novela is not about acting so scratch that, LOL.

The noose is tightening and the drama intensifies with so much at stake (nah, the stake is not about reputation, hehehe), it is to be expected that praise release errr I meant reports about the players in the impeachment trial will try to outdo each other on who can grab the limelight for the best sound byte material for the 2013 election.

Of course Mr. Corona & family will be the most sought after not because they are the media darling but theirs is the biggest scandal now that makes for good headlines. Love the way he fights as if on cue he acts as if he is the poster boy of judiciary independence and democracy just like his former boss Gloria Arroyo who desperately tries to portray herself as the poster girl of freedom from flight este travel, to quote:
This is not my personal fight, this is the fight of the judiciary and democracy. If this [fight] is only for me, there is a simple solution. But this is not my personal fight. We will make known what is right under our Constitution.
Excuse me but did you not cheat errrr took the seat in the most frowned upon manner called midnight appointment clearly reserved for the uncouth thick skinned whose utter lack of decency and propriety maligns the position in unjustly clinging to it shamelessly?

It just gets better from hereon when Renato Corona utters this below:
Ang problema sa ibang tao, hindi ko na sasabihin kung sino, akala nila magnanakaw ako tulad nila (The problem with my detractors is that they think I'm a thief like them).

Wow that says a lot but when one who believes or was it deludes themselves they can do no wrong it loses its luster and gets to be a bad joke especially when he says this:
Eh di ilabas nila. Kung mailalabas nila iyong properties ko ibibigay ko na lang sa kanila (So disclose it. If they could produce the properties they can have them)…I will sign a deed of donation, Corona told reporters after the 7th day of Novena at the Supreme Court.

Really now, so here it is in the subpoena of the prosecution team detailing 45 properties under his name, the wife Cristina and children:

Well, from the looks of it and if the TCT is under Corona and his close relative’s name all the prosecution need to do is determine if they still own the properties and how they acquired or disposed of the properties in case they claim it is not theirs anymore. Amassing 45 properties is quite a feat and one has to be loaded in order to do so. Was that a fringe benefit when one works for high ranking politicians in office legit or otherwise? If it is it appears to be a very lucrative position beating even some CEO’s of multi-national companies.

It makes me wonder if people are really treating Corona seriously when he says whoever find his properties he will gladly sign a  deed of donation. Unfortunately it is not as simple as deeding it for donation if the allegations are true, it will be confiscated by the state since it belongs to the people not for him to donate or give away.
Impeachment 01

For a more detailed report read the Corona assets worth P200M by Cynthia D. Balana, Juliet Labog-Javellana of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Now that alone should be enough to convict Renato Corona but it seems this is just the tip of the iceberg according to the prosecutors, sure don't want Corona to resign now. The impeachment proceedings will definitely be a teachable learning experience for all of us so as not to repeat the same aberration once again.......

Will you leave this guy alone with your sister, daughter or any female member of your family much less in the halls of congress?
If you asked the gullible ignorant voters of Ruben "Hannibal" Ecleo, Jr. and Congress particularly his kulig errr colleague under hospital arrest Gloria "Rumamona" Arroyo it probably will be a resounding yes.

Perhaps it was Ruben "Hannibal" Ecleo Jr., who gave Gloria Arroyo the inspiration to display her Hannibal Lecter look alike contraption in her pity me pics, unfortunately her arrogance and unimaginable impunity dwarfed (pun intended) their desperate attempt at portraying a delicately sick politician with a life-threatening illness.

If her spin doctors are as smart as her medical doctors, (oh I take that back it seems there's more to that than meets the eye) they probably would have come out with something more believable gimmick in their great escape attempt. Her doctors & the St. Luke's Hospital may be in trouble with PMA, as it turns out there are 100 medical practioners who can treat Gloria Arroyo's not so life-threatening disease. But then again was there really a certification coming from St. Luke's Hospital or was that another one of those Comelec Back door operation like documents? There goes the Medical Tourism once touted by Gloria Arroyo when she was the unelected but definitely Garcified presidential term when she insist that not a single doctor can adequately treat her in the Philippines

Arrogance and huge ego has always been a problem why criminals fail to escape the long arm of justice. Just like Saif Kaddhafi who thought he is in a position to negotiate the terms of his surrender with the International Criminal Court found himself in the custody of the Transitional Government Forces, something he dread about but ended up with them anyway.

A criminal who rises up to the rank of the "Honorables" and an "Honorable" who may end up as a hard core criminal if the electoral saboteur charges sticks. The irony of ironies is that somehow our political institutions seems to attract criminals and law abiding citizen turned politicians are not just attracting criminals but turning into criminals themselves.

The sad part is this maniac is just one person with fanatical followers willing to die for him. It appears that the police are afraid to arrest Ecleo even though he is already convicted. Below is an old post that I feel needed to be brought up to show where our politics is going (unfortunately I seemed to have lost the original posting in the process, LOL).

Philippine Congress Elevates Criminals Even Cult Leader Ruben "Hannibal" Ecleo Jr. Accused of Parricide & Convicted of Graft & Corruption to Honorable Status

In civilized society even a small scandal is enough reason for politicians to resign their position and bow their head in shame as they fade away from the limelight. Decent civilized people are outraged and scandalized signaling the end of a promising political career. In the Philippines especially in far flung areas, political warlords of different persuasion are having a heyday lording it over their fiefdom. Politician involved in killing as grave as parricide even manage to get themselves elected and while people are indignant their protestations are muffled by the endemic corruption and endless scandals that rocks the nation.

Alona Bacolod a 4th year medical student died of strangulation on January 5, 2002 at age 27 in her residence in Barangay Banawa, Cebu City, whose remains was stuffed in a plastic bag found three days later dumped in a ravine in Dalaguete, a town in southern Cebu.

The accused principal suspect in the killing is Philippine Benevolent Missioner’s Association (PBMA) heir to the title of Supreme Master Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr. the late faith healer founders’ namesake son who claims to have the ability to “manifest his physical presence in different places at the same time.” How Ruben Ecleo Sr. was able to pull that one off is a mystery in itself or simply a case of people’s ignorance and gullibility. The accused killer is also a rocker although we have no clue if he is good or a bad musician but definitely at par with his counterpart when it comes to drug use being a shabu user. He is also former Dinagat Island Mayor and now elected representative of the lone district of the same island, this time inheriting the position from her mother Glenda Ecleo after maximizing the three term limit running unopposed as governor.

Dinagat Island is an idyllic paradise characterized by its scenic pristine rock formation but beyond its tranquility exist an aberration that defies its peaceful façade. The principle of separation of church and state is a big joke in a place of beauty and serenity spoiled not just by the presence, but usurped over as a fiefdom by cultist numb nuts morphing into political overlords complete with private armies armed to the teeth. The Ecleos has ruled Dinagat Island dating back to the time of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos considering them as an important ally that he even pays a visit because the Ecleos are able to deliver command votes similar to te Ampatuans of Maguinadanao.

Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr. was granted bail because his parricide case according to reports if accurate was downgraded to homicide which is really bizarre considering  that  Alona the victim is his wife and mother to their children. It is most likely this fixation on respect for the accused rights has more weight in our pathetic justice system in disregarding the circumstance of the crime. The BS coupled with the drama on the allege heart ailment according to doctors who examined him, alleging he may drop dead anytime enabling him to post bail. A ticking walking bomb they claim but to date has not had his heart bypass operation despite his allege delicate medical condition was able to campaign and win a congressional seat. One of the most outrageous "medical" claim was the heat in his jail cell may supposedly trigger a fatal heart attack. Are these quack doctors errr physician serious? It is not like the moron errr Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr. was not used to this climate, fer cryin out loud he was born in the tropics. HUDAS errr who does he think he is some balikyabang big shot who complains about the heat when they visit the Philippines? Well, have they not considered that Ruben Ecleo is treated like a queen inside his cell? His harem errr cellmates are reported to be so “awed” at his presence that they fan him to sleep and place themselves at his beck and call. Of course its a symbiotic relations which he seems to reciprocate and enjoys the "good times" with his harem errr fellow inmates, to quote:
Ecleo likened his condition in jail as being like that of a newlywed--adjustments have to be made.

He said he slept well because his inmates fanned him until he fell asleep.

"They are nice. Most of the time they are OK. They assist me. I enjoy being with them because we talk a lot. We're having such a good time," he said.
Although we can’t tell if the reason for such subservient slave wife like behavior of his paramours errrr cell buddies can be attributed to his being a "fun loving" cultist supreme master or the violent nature of  his fanatical followers having no qualms at committing dastardly act of murdering Ruben Ecleo’s known or perceived enemies.

Why he was allowed to post bail is beyond comprehension? The very reason for denying bail is when the accused posed a grave risk and danger to society far outweighs granting the person’s rights to liberty. You would think that if it took a combined police, swat teams, and an army backed with helicopter gunship operation just to serve an arrest warrant holed up in his mansion surrounded by fully armed elite bodyguards with 2,000 fanatical followers, some of whom were armed engaging the authorities in a deadly firefight, leaving 17 people dead in the carnage before Ecleo finally surrendered is compelling enough to throw away the keys. Unfortunately, justice in the Philippines is one unfathomable aberration that even fools in a mental institution will be hard put to comprehend or think that this is not crazy. How a case that has so far changed hands to seven different judges tells you something amiss is going on because the violence that follows this case such as the cold blooded murder of the head private prosecutor Atty. Arbet Sta. Ana-Yongco in her home office, Alona's  family murdered in their home taking along another  fatality their neighbor hit by stray bullet lead to the Ecleo's PBMA fanatic if not crazed followers.

This is the recalcitrant accused killer taunting the authorities in a radio broadcast before the raid in his mansion that if the authorities wants war it is war they will get. Was that someone the court is confident in releasing to the public? On the other hand this rambling Rambo full of machismo was as pale as a ghost in fear when one of the newly sentenced convict tried to stick in his ass an improvised shank of a sharpened toothbrush.  It seems that when this Rambo trying hard impersonator was unable to appease the desolate convict, his remark unduly exposed his true character, may have triggered the attack when he said he wants to call his mommy now. While we will not know for sure if that was what triggered the attack it definitely exposed this macho Rambo impersonator bravado as nothing but a puny balding mama’s boy. He may be a coward and a mama's boy when on a one on one situation but it does not follow that he is harmless when he is surrounded by his well armed bodyguards having no qualm at murdering his perceived enemies.

Do they really think this psycho deserves to be back in society to even deserve to be called honorable is truly amazing? Of course, if we go by the rogues gallery errrr, criminals league oooops, I meant Congress he is in good company considering they have a member incarcerated in Hong Kong accused of drug trafficking, Gloria Arroyo a former president demoting herself to the office perceived as the biggest crook and electoral cheat, Romeo Jalosjos a former member who would have been with him had his Arroyo granted him an executive pardon for his pedophile conviction and so many more criminals elevated to honorable status.

The world is full of the odd and the most bizarre psycho characters but Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr, is surely one that defies classification in this observation and warning coming from Fr. Leonardo Mercado:
……… Fr.Leonardo Mercado, executive secretary of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines ( CBCP ) Episcopal Commission on Interreligious Dialogue, said Bishop Miguel Cinches, a retired member of the CBCP assigned at Surigao del Norte, has warned parishioners not to join the cult of Ecleo because its teachings were against the Catholic church. Cinches was bishop of Surigao del Norte from March 1973 to July 2001.

Mercado said he learned from Ciches that one of the conditions for PBMA membership is that Ecleo would take advantage of young women members or their female children by having sex with them and forcing them to bear his child.

Cult members would allow Ecleo to have sex with their daughters because they consider Ecleo's child as a "blessing to the family," it was claimed.

The cult also believed that Dinagat island is a "Noah's Ark," where all chosen members residing in the island would survive the "end of the world in the year 2015," Mercado said.
Heck, now what kind of mentally deranged parents will offer their daughters as sexual sacrifice to a pervert psycho is just beyond me. Geez, I will definitely not even dare walk a fierce Pit Bull on the same street where I might come across someone like Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr for fear she might get eaten alive by the psycho maniac. Or worse he might think I am just like one his fanatic follower offering my bitch errr Pit Bull for impregnation which is really sad for the dog. This psycho has no place in Congress, much more in society at large. On the other hand it makes me wonder if he really is the Supreme Master of the "divine"  will the members of Congress offer their daughters too so they will be blessed with his offspring?

It is bad enough that the authorities allowed a clear danger to society out on the streets again and worse when Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr. has already been convicted of Graft and Corruption with his conviction affirmed by Sandiganbayan but pending appeal of his conviction to the Supreme Court is allowed to run for office and eventually winning.

In Cagdianao, Dinagat Island Mayor Bernardo F. Alcaria Jr. was sentenced to a jail term of ten years and perpetually banned from holding public office by the Sandigambayan for failing to liquidate and pay cash advances and over payments he received from the municipality totaling just P26,913. In contrast Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr. was sentenced to 31 years imprisonment for wanton fraud of overpayment amounting to hundreds of thousands and even defrauded the municipality in funding the building of a guest house owned by his organization PBMA, and yet unlike Alcaria who was banned from holding public office the conviction did not stop him from getting elected in congress. It was clearly a conspiracy to defraud the government with his co-accused, former municipal planning and development coordinator Anadelia Navarra, and private contractor Ricardo Santillano of PBMA Builders, each receiving 21 years jail terms.

One is presumed innocent until proven, a legal principle to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity and the right to defend themselves in a fair and balanced court system. The laws are interpreted by judges and justices with lawyers on contending sides arguing for their clients and that is how the justice system works, no way is the law interpreted according to the voters’ perception of innocence or guilt. It is therefore stupid to allow those convicted of graft and corrupt practice act a crime of moral turpitude unworthy of a public servants basic requirement of having a high degree of integrity to run for public office ,with his appeal dismissed by Sandiganbayan the same court that convicted him while pending appeal of conviction with the Supreme Court. Should they not clear their name first since their integrity is in question? Now it is equally irresponsible and unthinkable for the Comelec to allow those accused of serious crimes of violence resulting in death. It is the height of travesty and disrespect to the very office they purportedly represent as the peoples servant when they are involve in not just one killing but multiple deaths as in the case of Ruben “Hannibal” Ecleo Jr
