Lindsay Lohan & Funny or Die Scores Big!

Move over folks, there's a new political pundit in town according to Reuter's article Lindsay Lohan weighs in on Palin, teen pregnancy where she was quoted below:

“I think the real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and her political views, and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place. It’s distracting from the real issues, the real everyday problems that this country experiences,” Lindsay wrote.

And, she added:”… I would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what.”

Looks like the Republicans are victims of their own undoing for deriding Barack Obama as a mere celebrity like a bad karma with their VP looking more like a real celebrity with tabloids poking at every detail of their life even the unpleasant ones. Celebrities are reacting, I just don't know if that was the purpose as the Palins are unwittingly transformed into a TV reality characters and tabloid gossip material. On the plus side Sarah Palin and her family are getting so much attention that other celebrities can only dream of. Except for one minor problem, celebrities need attention for publicity to satisfy consumer voyeuristic curiosity to sell a movie or a CD album...... I just don't know how this kind of marketing will play out in an election.
