Tao, Filipino , Doktor.
Tinig ng mga OFW sa Guam
at sa apat na sulok ng daigdig.
Matatag na tagapagtanggol ng api,
pipi at pilay na OFW

Matapat na kaibigan, ulirang ama
Dakilang kasama, ngayo’y pumanaw na.

Paalam Ka Edong.

Buhay ka lagi
Sa puso naming OFW.

PRAYER

To you, O Lord, we commend Ka Edong. In his mortal life, You loved him dearly. Now that You have called him to a new life, we pray that You fulfill Your promise of everlasting life for those who believe in You. Let Ka Edong dwell in Your house of many mansions, dear Lord, where there is no more pain or grief, just peace, serenity and joy.

We beg You to welcome Ka Edong who in this life was a witness to selfless service, giving the best of himself to those around him. 'He is like a flower that withers, but the seed remains.' (Kahlil Gribran)

Thank You, dear Lord, for what he was to all the FilAms and those who knew him and learnt from him.

We give Ka Edong back to you, O God, whom you gave to us. As you did not lose him in giving him to us, so we do not lose him by his return. Not as the world gives, do you O Lord. For what you give, You do not take away, for what is Yours is ours also.

Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing but the limit of our sight - (Rossiter Worthington Raymond. )

Eternal rest grant unto Ka Edong, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
