When one who took the oath to protect and serve the people goes on a terrorist rampage who will protect us when the very people task to restore law and order are murderously inept? Never again should innocent people suffer from the hands of maniacal murderous criminal with a false sense of justice taking along with him tourist who has nothing to whatsoever or any connection with his personal "cause" that is more of a vendetta by hostaging and murdering innocent people.

What happened at the luneta hostage taking is truly a multiple tragedy. There were many opportunities lost which if taken advantaged of by truly competent and professional handlers, the loss of 9 lives and the massive negative fallout from a totally bungled handling of the incident could have been averted.
Those policemen who were sent there were no different from a bunch of barangay tanods who were there as IF THEY WERE to quell an ordinary disturbance by a barrio bully! This incompetence was gravely exacerbated by a total lack of leadership that was expected to respond to a situation similar to what had happened.
The media was no less guilty.
There are many lessons learned from this tragedy. But the foremost is the fact that those who have the ears of Pnoy2 and are surrounding him do not possess the caliber required of people in national governance ( magaling lang silang magsalita ng ingles!) and they could not handle crisis that could escalate nationwide. MGA UHUGIN PA ANG MGA GRUPONG ITO. it is only right for the these people to be treated like CAMELS passing through the eye of a needle when their appointment comes to the congress for confirmation. Otherwise, fire them from the office. Friendship no matter how long and great should not and could not override the demands of national interest.Their negligence or incompetence amounts to treason! it was so great that it encouraged the maggot from the 2nd district of Pampanga to suddenly come out and bask in the open sun.
