The Filipinos are God-fearing individuals, majority of us, are. And we don't hurt children - That is why it's difficult to believe that this is happening. A story based on a lie will not resurface again and again. We already know what is being sold, what kind of people secure the organs. The next question is: Who buys them? A country, most probably....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07280502072688481967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8499859064694863448.post-9851806117596657802008-05-14T15:41:00.000-07:002008-05-14T15:41:00.000-07:00Hi Tess, yes I agree and there seems to be so many...Hi Tess, yes I agree and there seems to be so many loose ends that makes no sense at all. There are even talks about men in white (as in doctors) in the van doing the extraction right there and then is just ridiculous although not exactly improbable. But then again it is better to be safe than sorry....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03336187436333827201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8499859064694863448.post-68269360635945333362008-05-14T05:40:00.000-07:002008-05-14T05:40:00.000-07:00I think I believe that it could be happening, unfo...I think I believe that it could be happening, unfortunately. But I've to point out that there are some aspects on the circulating stories that seemed to me unbelievable and may have been weaved with the truth to produce a more hair-raising urban legend.

For example, why still put money in the bodies of the dead children when the criminals could have simply just dumped the bodies and escaped? Why pay when they could have what they want without paying (and after a gruesome act)? And P30,000 bills won't be too easy to cram inside a child's mouth.

And I don't think it would be rather practical to simply kill the victims and harvest the organs. For this to work, harvested organs should be immediately implanted in the intended donee, and possibly, while the donor is still alive (though cadaveric donations are also a possibility, but the chances of a successful transplant is better with a live donor). Thus, it would be hardly practical if the victim is in one place while the intended donee is in another place. If the transplant is to be successful, both the donor and the donee should be in one place. Well, there could have been those organ boxes being used and it's possible that kidneys harvested are stored this way while on transit. But for the heart? That wouldn't work. For the heart, it should be an immediate transplant. Unless, of course, our criminals have become more sophisticated and have acquired the proper equipment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
